Tammy Jackson-Moore, Secretary

Tammy Jackson-Moore

Tammy Jackson-Moore, Secretary, was appointed to the Health Care District of Palm Beach County Board by the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners in October 2019 to represent the Glades’ communities. She has both governmental and non-profit experience, having worked as a former public information officer and outreach specialist for the South Florida Water Management District as well as a deputy city manager in municipal government. Jackson-Moore is the co-founder of Guardians of the Glades, an advocacy organization that works on behalf of the Glades communities. She has garnered distinguished recognition including being named “Who's Who in Black South Florida” as well as serving as Chairperson of the Palm Beach County Commission on Women. She also serves as the Secretary of the Lake Okeechobee Regional Economic (LORE) Alliance of Palm Beach County and the Palm Tran Service Board. Jackson-Moore holds a Bachelor of Science from Barry University in Miami, Florida.
